If you have been involved in an accident please turn your emergency lights on and do not leave your vehicle in a busy intersection or highway. Your safety needs to be your priority not your vehicle. After your hazard lights are on you need to find a safe place to take your vehicle to if your vehicle is still drivable. This could mean the way right side of the road, a safe parking lot, or a street that’s not heavily circulated. Your priority should be putting yourself and the occupants of your vehicle to safety.

Passing cars may not see you and hit you!
If it’s possible stop your vehicle under a light pole so it’s easily visible to other participants to the traffic and to the tow truck driver.
Do not try to fix your car by yourself on the side of a busy road. If you can’t drive your car to a safe place or to a mechanic, call a towing company. Call CJ Bishop Towing from Duluth GA at 404-998-4763 |
Never get out of the car until you are able to get your vehicle out of the traffic flow, even if you experience a tire blowout. Try to keep the vehicle on your side of the road as much as possible then attempt to exit safely even if that means you have to drive on a flat tire for a while. Standing outside of your vehicle to repair a tire on a busy road is dangerous and could be fatal. Don’t do it!

As a preventive measure we recommend regular oil changes and having your fans checked regularly to prevent overheating. |
